I've completed two weeks of my UX bootcamp and have enjoyed every bit of it! Going to work sucks and I've been pretty damn tired, but I am happy with the content and lessons provided. It's a strange sensation wanting to do more and learn more about something in the job category because with teaching I don't want to know more, I just want to be gone.
The plan is to keep on chugging and make it through to the end of the school year. Right now, it feels feasible. But I'm also aware that it's only the second week and we have a break for Thanksgiving which gives me a chance to rest up more than I will have some other months.
Family is going to be here for Thanksgiving and my husband and I love hosting so it's going to be a good time. I'm glad I can be honest with all of them about what's happening, but it's a little difficult keeping the secret at work that I'm leaving and training for something entirely different. I know when I click NO on my contract renewal in 2-3 months, the secret will be out though.
I'll cross that bridge when I get there, I suppose.
