It's the end of week 2 with students tomorrow. Both these weeks have been so draining. It's not just me either, which is nice but sad. I like to commiserate but it does contribute to some hopeless feelings.
I'm looking into boot camps for UX/UI and have two options lined up as of right now. They both start in November. One is remote and one is in-person. One is a few thousand more than the other. One gave me better vibes than the other. It's all kind of confusing right now. I'm still not completely convinced that I'll be able to juggle teaching full-time and a boot camp 3x a week with 15-20 hours of homework on top of the 3 hour lectures/work sessions.
Gah.
The hubs wants me to stop catastrophizing. If that's even a word. Apparently my dictionary says no. Anyways. I worry. It contributes to the jaw clenching too. (two crowns down, how many to go!?)
This is falling apart. That's my week. I'm frazzled. Bees in my brain. Short tempered and pessimistic. It's a mess.
Basically, I want to do a boot camp. It's pricy and I'm not sure which poison to pick. I'm afraid of what trying this will do to me and my family and work.
On top of that my son started a challenge program at school and the homework (as I "catastrophized") is not going well. We don't need this type of tension and stress when we're already trying to keep our sanity polished and pretty on the shelf. Whatever that means.
Ugh.
I'm done for now. It ain't easy right now and that's reflected in this post. Very well, in fact. Feel the crazy? The ugly? The unfortunate?
It is what it is.
