The hubs and I had what felt like a lurching, tentative discussion before bed. The gist was I need to be applying to jobs like crazy and trying my hardest. Underneath it all, I felt anxiety about whether or not my husband thinks I can make this leap.
Was it all impulsive and rushed to do a bootcamp and spend that money on training? I certainly think my giving notice was a bit... not quite conservative. I have been struggling so much at work though-when he said, "I don't see you teaching next year," I grabbed onto it! It wasn't long after that I gave notice. Felt a little like a faithful leap. Something I haven't done in a while.
I've been applying, not aggressively though. I've broadened my search to UX positions and instructional design.
In the meantime our sprinkler system has some issues and is going to cost us a pretty penny to fix. I've been getting to CrossFit more and been caught up in reading a romance novel series. I'm starting to write a novelization of my screenplay and I just remembered that I should send the screenplay out for notes (!). I'm much happier than I was a few months ago, that's for sure.
